This project included removing a wall that separated the kitchen and living spaces, reworking the kitchen layout to add an island and improved functionality, and updating finishes with sensible and sustainable solutions, including locally produced Canyon Creek cabinetry, no-VOC Ceaserstone countertops, patching and refinishing the wood floor instead of replacing it, and locally sourced and produced recycled glass tile that allowed for the homeowner’s creativity to shine.
Working in tandem with the home’s existing assets, a desire for new and functional results, and a conservative budget, we were able to maintain the goals of minimal impact for maximum affect in how they live, play, and grow in their home.
