Tenhulzen Residential
This outdoor extension of the kitchen allows for exterior enjoyment, featuring a vaulted ceiling and skylights and a natural stone fireplace.
This 1954 home was redesigned for its 21st-century family. An open-concept floor plan with modern amenities guided this first-floor remodel. It includes an expanded kitchen featuring a cook top peninsula and bar seating. French doors open to a newly expanded outdoor living space and Trex deck. The main bathroom was transformed to include storage space and modernized amenities to appease each family member. We loved working with this local Shoreline family and are so glad that they’re happy with the results!
Once a dated rambler has now become a client's dream home. The client wanted their living space to be more connected to the backyard and allow for more comfortable entertaining. By removing walls, vaulting the kitchen ceiling, and adding doors and windows this multi-function space was created. Stretching into all three bedrooms with new flooring, trim, doors, and paint this home has been transformed. The use of warm colors, and mixing of transitional styling with some traditional details makes this home a client dream come true.
Our home owners love the rugged beauty of “timber framing” and wanted an outdoor living area that would reflect that architectural style. The completed two-story structure enhances their view of the forest behind their home and a spiral staircase connects the upstairs master bedroom to the deck.
This elegant waterfront home is built to amaze. From the walls of windows and decks that make you feel like you’re practically on the beach to the custom finishes and modern technologies that every homeowner dreams about, this house has it all!

An 8-foot extension of the main floor allowed for a larger and lighter configuration of primary entertaining area. Accessible by a 12-foot-wide folding French door system, the outdoor patio becomes an extension of the new space.
Integrated with the existing roof is a new deck surface designed for enjoying morning tea.
Lighter and brighter with improved storage and functionality.
Following completion of the kitchen addition, this sequel performance is scheduled to be complete in time for this event.

Our clients purchased this West Seattle home with the intention to formalize a grand entertaining space on the entire first floor. We brought the space down to the studs and reconfigured the dining, living and kitchen to take advantage of the amazing island view. This included new windows and french doors that open up to a new deck that faces the view. New hardwood floors were installed, creating a cohesive look throughout. The kitchen is chef-worthy and has all new cabinets with ample storage, along with built-in benches. The master suite includes walk-in closets, updated bath and shower, along with a double vanity.
The results are beautiful and the clients are thrilled.

A 1941 Ballard classic with tons of potential has been fully renovated for a loyal Seattleite. The whole home was remodeled from the inside out.
The refresh begins on the main floor; an expanded kitchen and revised master bathroom and bedrooms exist with the original architectural details intact, creating visual balance. A widened stairway leads downstairs to a newly reconstructed basement.
Comprehensive enhancements include earthquake retrofitting. The modernized exterior wows with new siding and windows, a revamped entry with a bay window, and covered stairway. A brand new deck serves as an observation and entertainment area overlooking the yard. The new driveway, garage door, and walkways complete the look.
