Nip Tuck Remodeling
In this Sammamish remodel, we used a cohesive design to blend and update the kitchen, living room, laundry room, and entire main floor.
This 1926 home had seen a lot of different eras and remodels over the years. Our homeowners wanted to bring some of the original charm back to the kitchen and living spaces while also adding modern conveniences. The charm part is addressed with crown molding, beautiful tile, light fixtures, a farmhouse sink and Shaker-style cabinets. Modern conveniences include removing two walls to create a larger kitchen, as well as to create connection between the kitchen and the rest of the living space. A new range hood is flush with the ceiling so that it doesn’t block sight lines in the kitchen. Finally, we converted the wood-burning fireplace to a modern gas fireplace.

This 70s house with great bones missed the mark with a choppy layout and by obscuring a fantastic view. We opened the floor plan and the entire back wall to the water view. Between the 21-foot sliding door and a sleek combination of wood and painted cabinets, there’s no way to miss the intention. It is now a space that is both calm and vibrant, ready to accommodate a party for 40 or a quiet fireside dinner for two.
A partial second story with two bedrooms and a bathroom were added to this 1943 home. Structural modifications were made to the entry and living room layout.
It features beautiful custom-built black walnut cabinets, new stair railings, and a gas fireplace surrounded with grey bark tile, completely changing the look and function of the home. Cubbies for every member of the family are a new laundry room feature.
Wrapped front porch posts and exposed tongue-and-groove cedar soffits provide attractive finishing touches to the exterior.
This Tuscan waterfront villa transports you to the old world with its stone and stucco exterior, 17-foot cathedral ceilings, indoor brick pizza oven, exquisite terra cotta and hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace, distressed and reclaimed wood accents, handmade painted custom tile, wine barrel sink vanity, outdoor shower, and Juliet balconies. The home features breathtaking water views from the 16-foot Nanawall glass door that opens to a trellised outdoor deck. The entire custom home is open for touring and includes two kitchens, four bathrooms, and numerous multi-purpose living spaces.
This open concept kitchen/living room design was made possible by removing a load bearing wall and installing structural beams. An entertainment dream, features include an automated TV elevator, the latest in entertainment/sound systems, a wine storage and dispenser, and an automated ceiling island hood.
Unique modern accents complete this breathtaking kitchen and great room remodel. Don’t miss the special touches including a glass bead and ribbon flame fireplace, unique kitchen cabinet storage ideas, a floor-to-ceiling ledge-stone fireplace surround, a custom cable railing and stunning metallic/glass tile work.
This 1949 home was transformed to meet the changing needs of the homeowner, a retired war veteran.
Using universal design principles, the remodel includes a master bathroom, kitchen, living room with new fireplace, updated flooring, doors, trim, and a wider staircase and doorways. All floor transitions were removed. The walk-in shower includes a bench. Easier access and use was created in the updated kitchen.
By removing obstacles, greater ease and overall safety was achieved. Thanks to these changes, the owner now has greater independence in his home.
This well-located 70s rambler had a huge stone fireplace that dominated the space, dividing the kitchen, living, and family rooms. By removing the fireplace and vaulting the ceiling, an open, inviting, and spacious great room was born. The enlarged kitchen features new skylights, beautiful granite countertops, and cherry cabinets, along with a raised eating bar. A relocated gas fireplace and entertainment center now compliments the main seating area. Swedish-finished hardwood floors throughout complete the transformation.
The complete renovation of this classic 1906 Capitol Hill home includes a newly updated kitchen with custom cabinetry, a large walnut butcher block island, and professional appliances.
Two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor were combined into a spacious master suite with a walk-in closet and an expansive master bath that features custom tile work, custom cabinetry, and heated floors. New and refinished hardwood flooring, both fir and oak, are found throughout the home.
The all new, designer interior in this home invites opportunities to relax with the kids and watch a movie or set the lighting and music from anywhere when entertaining friends and clients. The impressive volume of technology was literally built right into nearly every room of the house. The result is bold and powerful, yet timeless and classic at the same time.
The entire three-story, 3,600+ square foot custom-built dream home will be on tour, showcasing a rooftop deck with sweeping beach and water views, two kitchens, a separate bar and entertaining area, six bathrooms, an elevator, and a separate mother-in-law living area.
The home is packed with custom features, including a built-in hidden mirror TV, intricate coffered ceiling detail, and extensive tile, stone, and carpentry work throughout. Get design inspiration from the final decorative touches combining traditional and vintage fixtures, furnishings, and finishes.
